Trust Charter
Version 1.0
Active from organization activation. The org-admin signs on activation. Workers acknowledge on first app launch.
Identical to the in-app charter inside WorkBrief and the source for pilot agreements and marketing copy.
What we promise
WorkBrief is software for workflows — nothing else. We help you describe tasks clearly, route them to the right people, and make their completion traceable. What we do not do, and never will:
1. We do not score employees
WorkBrief assigns no points, no stars, no ratings. There is no "top performer" list. There is no comparison between employees. We do not measure who is faster than whom. These features will never be built — not because we forgot, but because we chose against them.
2. We do not track
Location data, typing patterns, app-usage times, breaks, idle periods — none of it is stored. An employee opens the app, completes a task, closes the app. What happens in between is none of our business.
The only timestamps WorkBrief stores are those tied directly to task state changes: "task started at X", "task completed at Y", "photo uploaded at Z". These are required to make work traceable — not so anyone can be monitored.
3. We do not compare
There are no dashboards that pit employees against each other. Reports aggregate at org-level or location-level, never per person. If a supervisor has an issue with an individual, that is an HR conversation — not something WorkBrief should provide data for.
4. Employees see what is stored about them
Any employee can view, at any time, what data is stored about them: completed tasks, uploaded evidence, asked questions, written comments. This is not a privilege we grant — that is the only thing the app stores.
5. Your data is yours, not ours
- Hosting in the EU (Frankfurt region for database, EU multi-region for files).
- GDPR-compliant.
- No selling, no sharing, no training of third-party AI models with your data.
- At end of contract: full data export at the click of a button. Followed by deletion within 30 days, including backups.
- You can cancel any time. No minimum term, no penalty.
6. AI suggestions are suggestions — never instructions
WorkBrief uses AI to propose structured tasks from your documents. These proposals are always drafts. A responsible human must release them before they reach an employee. AI never publishes directly in WorkBrief. Safety-critical content is additionally flagged so it is not missed during review.
7. We accept being audited
This charter is part of your contract. If we violate it, that is a contractual breach, not merely a reputational issue. You may request an independent auditor to inspect our data processing (at your cost, with prior notice).
What we do
WorkBrief stores exactly what is necessary to create, route, execute, and traceably close a task:
- The task content (description, checklist, safety notes, required materials).
- The assignment (person or team).
- The execution (which steps were checked off, which evidence was uploaded, which questions asked).
- The status history of the task (draft → approved → in progress → completed → closed).
Nothing more.
Who must accept this document
- Org-Admin at organization activation. By signing, the admin confirms that all members of the organization are informed about this charter.
- Employees at first app launch. A short confirmation ("Understood, I accept") is enough — the full charter is always available from the profile menu.
- WorkBrief / Moinsen by providing the software per this charter.
Changes
This charter may be amended — but:
- Changes that restrict promises require explicit consent from each existing Org-Admin (no auto-accept).
- Changes that strengthen promises are announced 14 days in advance.
- Every version is retained in the audit log (version number, date, diff to previous).
